Episode 5. Diagnosis of head and neck cancer, with Jennifer Deane

This week we are the lovely and inspirational Jennifer Deane chatting to us. Jennifer is a PhD student at Newcastle University researching diagnosis of head and neck cancer. Jennifer’s research examines how we can help people to get diagnosed earlier for head and neck cancers by chatting to people from across the region.

We chatted to Jennifer about her incredible journey into science, the beauty of being in the right place at the right time, and the impacts she’s hoping to make with her brilliant research.
